Fred’ knowledge of kinesiology, correct exercise technique, and variety of training methods provide a safe, progressive program for any fitness level. He monitors daily performance and overall improvement, and adjusts the exercise program to meet the needs of the individual.
In my case, Fred balances my workouts with the sport specific training that I do each week, incorporates the recommended weight training program from my coaches, tapers the workouts before fitness testing and major competitions, and challenges me in every session. He has helped me reach several different goals, including achieving personal bests in dragon boat fitness tests, significant improvements in strength and cardio, and being selected to the National Team (Sr. C – over 60) in dragon boat.

I came to Fred as a failed P90X customer. P90x was great for a week or two but trying to stay motivated was its downfall. That’s where Fred comes in. With his knowledge, passion and devotion Fred managed to kick me into gear. We are 4 months in now, and I’m down 50lbs on the scale and my body is in the best shape it’s ever been. At 45 I tried most diet and exercise programs out there – I considered myself a professional yoyo dieter. I’m dropping a quick note to tell you how happy Eric and I are with the training he has been doing with you. It has been a year since Eric started training with you. Since Eric was only 13yr olds, I wasn’t sure he would have the discipline to stick to regular training. Over the past year, Eric’s interest in training has continued to grow. After going thru several fitness trainers in, I was frustrated and discouraged. Somehow I ended up speaking with Fred. He not only listened to what I wanted, but he also instinctively seemed to know what I needed. All I wanted was to run faster and without pain. He worked on a training program to make me a better, faster, stronger and injury free runner.
Only a year later and Fred has helped me to not only achieve my goals, but exceed them. Going from a casual runner to a competitive one, to winning several races in my age category and signing a sponsorship agreement, all are things I never even thought possible. I was introduced to Fred, by my daughter with whom he had trained the previous summer.
At that time Fred trained her in the areas of strength and agility as she was a goaltender playing NCAA hockey and who subsequently went on to win a national championship.
Notably three years later as she was preparing to become a Police Officer he worked with her on a much more intense level assisting her to finish top of her class in the physical testing

Working out with Fred one-on-one was a great decision. I was looking to improve performance and appearance, and he delivered. Some days I was whining and complaining but I just had to get myself there and he would help me pull through, and I accomplished things I didn’t think I could do in our time together. Fred’s training style is supportive yet challenging. He is such a friendly guy which really helps the process – (almost) always smiling! 🙂 Every time I worked out with Fred I would learn something new, even though I had worked out with multiple trainers prior. When I joined a gym in 2016 I came to Fred, who interviewed me on what my goals/expectations were. A lot to consider for me. I think feeling better without sweating was the major goals. Funny, I was only willing to do certain things. The trainer had other ideas and with great patience taught me to push myself and do the extra needed to reach my goals. My goals have been met along with some weight loss, which was my secret goal, and now we are working on new goals.
My trainerd has a way of making you want to go to the gym. I am not sure I understand what it is he does to make me want to do more, but I don’t really care as long as the motivation is still there.
Personal training, team training and just going to the gym are all part of my daily life and I would not have it any other way.
I am a long term client of the Beast and I can’t speak highly enough of him – he gets results. Fred takes the time to understand your needs and tailors his approach accordingly. I have worked with Fred for just around 2yrs now, in that time he has been my co-worker as well as my Fitness Manager for a short period, in both position he has demonstrated the abilities of what it takes to be a high level train, especially having managed a team of 10 plus trainers and having to mentor and develop them from scratch.
